THE OPPOSITION

Built for a default.

One way of carrying became the way everything gets made. Most golfers adapted without ever being offered the choice.

The Default

At some point the industry settled on one way of doing this, and filed the exception under a label that covers a fraction of the people it should. Not out of malice. Out of arithmetic. Once a market is counted that small, nobody builds against it.

So the number stayed small, which confirmed the number, which kept it small. Everyone downstream inherited it without ever having a reason to check.

What Nobody Measured

There is a second problem underneath the first. The count measured demand for something almost nobody was selling. A preference needs an option before anyone can express it, and most golfers have walked into the same shop and faced the same wall their whole lives. One kind of bag, carried the one way, or a single strap and no choice at all.

You cannot prefer an alternative you have never been handed. So most of the people this is built for do not yet know it is built for them. That is not a weakness in the argument. It is the argument, and it is why the real number has never once turned up in anyone's data.

What Adapting Looks Like

It rarely looks like complaint. It looks like a small adjustment made so often it stops registering as an adjustment. Most people who have made one could not tell you when they started. They will tell you their equipment is fine, and it is fine, and there has never been an alternative worth naming.

We are not against the game, or the people who build for it. We are against a number nobody checked.

Opposition, But Respect

The game is not the problem, and the brands that built it are not villains. They make very good bags and we have carried plenty of them. The problem is a definition. One group of golfers was counted wrong a long time ago, and every decision after that inherited the count.

We are not arguing with the craft. We are arguing with the arithmetic.

Who This Is For

Not a demographic. A preference. Some people read that and know immediately, because they have been adapting to their equipment for years and can name the moment they started. Others have never given it a thought, because nothing has ever prompted one. This is built for both. Very little else about you is relevant to us.

What We Are Doing About It

Four hundred bags to open. Four drops, made once. Four hundred eighty-five dollars, and no discount at any point, for anyone. Few enough to account for every one.

A New Carry

There is a specific reason this company exists, and a specific thing about how the bag is built. We will show you both, once there is something real to show. Until then the position stands on its own.
